⚠️ BEFORE YOU GO OUT INTO NATURE...

⚠️ BEFORE YOU GO OUT INTO NATURE...

SAFETY HUB COMING SOON

We are currently working on a safety content project to deliver quick safety refreshers for you before you head out into nature. We are partnering with First Aid providers in all major cities around the country that you can brush up on your first aid. You never know when you are going to need it, whether you are out in nature or in the city.

We take no responsibility for your safety, and we are not experts. You are responsible for your safety.

What we want to make VERY CLEAR;

  • Go on adventures with people who have experience where possible, find experts to go with if you are inexperienced. We are working hard to create great experiences around the country for you to go with if you don’t have access to these kinds of people.

  • NEVER overestimate your own abilities out in nature. Always be cautious and responsible.

  • If going on a hike, always tell someone your plans including where you are heading, and when your expected return is, so they can notify the appropriate authorities if they don’t hear from you.

  • Always check the forecast, and be prepared for all possible weather conditions - the weather can change very quickly.

  • If hiking, go in groups of 4 if possible in case something happens and you need to split up to go get help.

  • Hire a PLB (Personal Location Beacon) if hiking in areas that you might require that if you get lost and don’t have reception.

  • Snakes will be out and about more during Spring-Summer, be aware and prepared.

  • Snake bites: Always take a bandage, wrap from bite toward heart, and then back to bite.
